AN OPEN LETTER TO SHRI ASHOK KUMAR

AN OPEN LETTER TO SHRI ASHOK KUMAR MATHUR, CHAIRMAN, 7TH CPC.
Dear Justice Ashok Mathur,
I, Ravi Sinha, Assistant Commandant, joined the CRPF four years ago as a young officer and presently i am posted to a battalion deployed along the Chattisgarh-Telangana border in the name of conducting anti- naxal operations by the GoI. As the Naxals or the Maoists are our own brothers and sisters, I don't face any threat to my life or limbs from them. We live amicably. Every morning I go to their camps to say " Good Morning " and have a cup of tea with them. They reciprocate by coming to my camp in the evening to play volleyball and then we all enjoy beer, music and dance.
As I am enjoying all the luxuries of life in my present posting I am very sure that when I am transferred out to another place or jungle, to be more precise, I will keep on enjoying the same luxury. My dear Paki friends are eagerly waiting for me in J&k as I had made a promise to play Nukka- Chhipi with them and I will not break my promise. In a nutshell, I am enjoying picnic here and very confident that this picnic is not going to end anywhere in future.
Now I would like to draw your attention to the fact that apart from eating, meeting and cheating the Government, I am not involved in any economically productive task. in other words, I am being paid a huge amount of money by the Govt unnecessarily for doing nothing. The figures in my bank account is skyrocketing and putting the Swiss bank account holders to shame. As the Govt has provided me five star accomodation and facilities like our honourable MPs get, I fail to understand how and where to spend my salary. As I live in jungles, there is no impact of inflation on me. Thus, please take back my dearness allowance. I face no threat to life, please take back my risk allowance. As I belong to a family of billionaires, and planning to purchase Antilia from Mukesh, I don't need HRA. I do not need LTC as the Govt. provides me free tourism package throughout India on the occasions of election, agitations, riots and natural disasters. Last but not the least, take back NPS also and instead provide OROP to our poor army boys.
Hope to see some positive action from you,
Yours sincerely,
Ravi Sinha
